Episodio 17 - Las madres de la Plaza de Mayo

Read the following links, follow the instructions for each link and then do the activity at the bottom of the links.
1. Read Los desaparecidos blog
2. Los desaparecidos - Testimonio y Argentina. Visit all the links and sublinks on this site and read the information.
3. Visit the Wall of Memory link and click on 13 different photographs, read the information about these 13 desaparecidos, links are only in spanish.
4. The vanished gallery - read the linked page fist, then go to the responsible link in this page and then click on the link for the responsible and read the 5 additional links from the responsible. After reading go back to the initial page and click on the victims link on these page read one link from each of the subcategories of this page (tortured, vanished, whole families, children and adolescents and murdered). Choose one of the victims to include in your essay.
Instructions: in your blog write a summary of at least 500 words about what you learned from all the links you visited (make mention of the one person you chose from the vanished gallery and what happened to him or her, name, age if available and if she or he was ever found). Following the summary write a 700 word essay with your opinion of all that happened in Argentina during the dirty war. Both summary and essay must be in the same blog separated by the following titles "Summary" and give your own title to your essay. This blog is in english.
